Broadening Horizons is a lifelong process. It is a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realise and maximise their potential.
A workshop was conducted in Sanskriti….. The School on 24th May 2019, a day before resuming the academic session post Summer Vacations. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Shivnetri Mudgal, a Psychologist. The foremost aim of this workshop was how to increase concentration in the students, how to work on their communication skills and how to inculcate active learning skills in them. The talk was divided into three segments, i.e. bringing change in oneself, understanding the needs of the scholars and various stages of life given by famous psychologist Eric Erickson. The workshop began with warm-up sessions followed by many interesting activities and concluded with a message on self-development/improvement. It taught the teachers the importance of teamwork and having a positive attitude. Teachers were told how they need to understand the perspective of the scholars.
Principal, Lt Col A K Tyagi also spoke on the importance of understanding child psychology and how important it is for a teacher to be Pathfinder and motivator for a scholar.
It was an interactive workshop and beautifully marked the beginning of the session with zest and zeal.
