Labour Day Celebration
Wednesday, May 1- LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION-The International Workers’ Day, also called as Labour Day, was celebrated at the school with full zeal.
“From field to field and desk to desk,
Your hard work is what makes the Nation best.”
Sanskriti Family is constantly on its toes to ensure children grow up to empathetic human beings who are high on emotional quotient. The School observed Labour day celebrations to inculcate respect for all the members of society and value them for the contribution they make to create communication worth living. The function started with a Special Assembly wherein the scholars of Class u2 and u4 Shruti Manya and Eshan Dutta apprised everyone with the history and the significance of May Day. The children also highlighted the importance of helpers and elaborated about the different ways in which it is celebrated all over the world.
Principal Col A.K Tyagi expressed gratitude towards the School support staff and reiterated the fact that their contribution is an important aspect of their life. Gleeful faces and streams of thank you cards all set to celebrate the unsung pillars of the School. The Students also expressed their gratitude towards them by thanking and applauding them for their support.
Inter House Display Board Competition
All the four houses participated enthusiastically in the Inter-House Display Board Competition held for students held on May 04, 2019. The theme for this academic year was ” Elements of Life – Earth, Wind, Water & Fire”. The participants put all their efforts and creativity into the sketches and came up with innovative and out -of -the box ideas.
One member per house elucidated upon and described the hidden meanings that the display portrayed to the best of their creativity and ingenuity. The event was judged by the Col A K Tyagi (Principal), Dr Manoj Bharadwaj (Headmaster) and Mr Dinesh Sharma. Pegasus and Cygnus House secured the first position, followed by Orion House and Hercules who shared the second position. The students and judges alike were highly impressed by the exhibits drawn by all the participants
