| | PAPER BAG MAKING AND DESIGNING 20th July, 2022 With the theme to save environment, spread awareness and also to incorporate a habit of using paper bags instead of plastic bags, an inter school ‘Paper Bag Making and Designing’ competition was held on Wednesday, 20th July, 2022. Students from various schools participated in the competition and crafted beautiful handbags out of chart paper. The participants used colourful glitters, colour pencils, paints, ribbons and stickers to decorate and design their artwork. The competition was really tough as it exhibited attractive paper bags with messages like “Go green”, “Keep your city clean” and “Use paper bags”. The competition was judged by Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Lecturer Govt. School, Topdara and Mr. Banwari Lal Ojha, Freelance Artist.
PATRIOTIC DANCE COMPETITION 20th July, 2022 To rekindle the sense of patriotism and love for our country, an inter school ‘Patriotic Group Dance Competition’ was held in Shiv Smriti Fest on 20th July, 2022. Many schools showed their active participation in this competition and gave spectacular breathtaking patriotic dance performances. Dressed in tri-colour and soaked in patriotic fervor the participants of each school kept the flame of patriotism alive and reverberated the aura. The competition was judged by Mr. Dev Tyagi, choreographer and Mr. Karan Nirvan, Dance Club, Ajmer.
COMBAT OF THE INTELLECT 21st July, 2022 Combat of Intellect, a debate competition was hosted by our school on Thursday, 21st July, 2022, wherein the topics were given prior to the teams to prepare. The topics for the competition were: ‘Censorship is Warranted on Internet’ and ‘Modern Healthcare and Antibiotics are Slow Poison’. By a draw system, the participating teams selected one topic and spoke ‘for’ and ‘against’ the motion . There were around 9 teams from renowned schools of Ajmer and Jhansi including the host school debating over the given topics . The competition was tough as the students made it interesting by their factual arguments. Ms. Sita Choudhary, officiating Principal of KV2 and Ms. Kalpana Sharma, educationist judged the event very fairly. The judgement criterion was: Topic Relevance , Vocabulary, Overall Presentation, Confidence and Coherence. The winner of the Combat of Intellect competition was St. Stephens, Ajmer.
AI AT A GLANCE: 21st July, 2022 AI: AT A GLANCE EVENT hosted a total number of 10 teams from various schools.The event commenced at 9:00 a.m. after the felicitation of the judges, with the participating teams eager to present their ideas and innovations.
The students showed positive involvement and presented their views in front of the Judges viz. Dr. Sanjay Jain (Ass professor Govt College) and Ms. Abha Jain(Web Designer and Social Media Handler,Mayo college) It was indeed a sea of brilliance, as team after another came forward armed with incredible, original views and advancements in AI and it’s role in SDG. The overall event was successful and admired by all. It stood to be beneficial to update the participants and viewers about the Power of AI.The whole event was organized under the supervision of Ms Devi Dhanani. HOD, Dept. of Computer & Mr Ankit Sharma.
CLEAN AND GREEN EARTH 21st July, 2022 With a vision to save our planet Earth, an Inter School competition, ‘Clean and Green Earth For A Better Tomorrow’ based on 17 goals of SDG’S given by UNESCO was organised on 21st July, 2022. Many schools from Ajmer and outside Ajmer participated in this competition. The aim of this competition was to promote interest in Science and Technology as well as to take initiative to save our environment among the future generation. The competition was also designed to encourage scientific and technological creativity of the students. All the students participated enthusiastically and actively and the exhibits/ models prepared by them were appreciable. Mr. Vishal Kumar Tak, PGT Biology, KV1 and Mr. Rajeev Kashyap, Retired PGT Physics, St. Mary’s Convent were the judges of this competition.
