BALANCING ACTIVITY (L1-L3)

15th July, 2022
Balance is considered to be a key component of fitness, along with strength, endurance and flexibility and it also plays a vital role in a child’s development. Hence, balancing activities were conducted for L1-L3 scholars on Friday, 15th July, 2022. The young scholars enthusiastically participated in such learning through play activities. These activities helped the scholars to develop a balance, coordination and learn to work in a team.

Balancing a ball on a sheet of paper : Two scholars were asked to carry a ball on a sheet of paper, each child holding the paper from opposite ends. They were instructed and guided to balance the ball on the paper and walk towards the other end of the classroom without touching or dropping the ball. It was a fun learning experience for the toddlers as they tried their best to keep a balance and work in coordination with their partner. There was a lot of cheering and clapping in the class as they encouraged their classmates.

Balancing the paper buckets on a hanger: This activity was a learning experience for the tiny toddlers as they learnt to weigh things and find out which bucket is heavier. In this activity, scholars were asked to fill their paper buckets with any stationery items. Then they were asked to weigh their buckets on a hanger and find out whose bucket weighed heavier. This activity helped the scholars to work in teams and learn to balance things.

ART & CRAFT ACTIVITY (J3-J5)
15th July, 2022
“Flowers are one of the many mesmerising gifts nature provides us with”.
With an aim to enhance the creativity of our scholars, an Art & Craft competition of ‘Flower Making’ was conducted for the scholars of level J3-J5 on 15th July, 2022. With a cut here and a fold there, the young artists with their crafty skills and ideas made beautiful colourful flowers. The classrooms looked like little gardens with beautiful roses, lilies, dahlias, daisies and so many more. The amount of effort and the presence of mind of the scholars during this activity was amazingly impressive. The flower making activity was like a breath of fresh air for all the scholars.
